Solomon Gebreselassie Woldesellassie was born in Eritrea in 1955 and is 70 years young. Solomon is very fit for his age. He regularly runs half-marathons. He is a devoted Coptic Christian.
Solomon has his personal car and rents his own apartment. A job in Sweden is very important to him. Eritreans, and Solomon in particular, have an excellent work ethic. Solomon has tried different types of jobs in Sweden – warehouse, assembly, forklift, driver, food industry – even FODORA using his own car. In Bergen, Solomon volunteered for Matsentralen (Central for providing food to poor people).
Solomon always receives a good reference for his work. However, it is difficult to get a permanent full-time job at his age. Can you help Solomon to find a stable and relatively good paying job?

Previously, we ran the volunteer organization “Solomon in Bergen.” The members contributed to part of Solomon’s living expenses when he was a refugee in Bergen. Ultimately, Solomon lost hope in Bergen and had to flee on to Sweden.
Sweden believed in Solomon and gave him a chance to stay. The organization in Bergen covered Solomon’s expenses for car and truck certificates in Sweden. Solomon was able to work in Sweden, and then there was no longer a need for the volunteer aid organization in Norway. Many thanks to the members!
Now God Fiskehelse AS supports Solomon in Sweden with what we can. This is our sponsorship project! Our plan is to continue helping Solomon apply for and find work where he is. Now it’s Sweden that matters!
